new zealand

After the Noosa festival, and the Australia trip in general, we flew over to New Zealand while we were still on that side of the globe.

The trip to NZ wasn't really a work trip, although I took a ton of photos that I think I'll be able to do something with. It wasn't really a surf trip, but I got a lot of great waves. Basically it was just a vacation at the end of a year abroad, but it was one of the best places I've ever been, if not the best.

Anyway, I'm scanning a bunch of the photos now. Along with the digital photos I shot, and plenty of images that haven't been shown from Australia, I have a lot I can put up here.

I'll do it a little bit at a time.

I'll start with just one.

This fall I'm moving to Oregon. I've never been there, but I imagine parts of it look like this...and I like that.

New Zealand is a beautiful country. If you want to read an amazing book its called 'Season of the Jew' by Maurice Shadbolt' When I was in NZ i was told to read it to undertsand the history of the country.
By the way your shots are always inspiring.

Nice picture, and good choice with Oregon. Its my favourite state by far. Great community there when you take the time to settle.
